Have saw setup and dialed in, waiting on electrician to upgrade power for saw. Should be done in the next couple days. It looks great, lots of leveling, also have the sliding table that I'm looking forward to using.the fence looks and seems fantastic, slides very nice. Hopefully I can give a working review shortly
Huge upgrade if you are breaking down sheet goods, particularly if you have many identical cuts to make. Take time to set up correctly and it will serve you well.
Received lathe in good time, we'll packaged everything there have it set up but haven't used it yet as wood working is done later in the year for me. By the looks of lathe build should be an excellent machine!!
I have a Sawstop professional tablesaw and was finding a need for the ability to break down sheet goods a lot easier, fast and repeat the same cuts due to many cabinet making jobs. I didn't have the space for a full sized sliding tablesaw and therefore had two options, either the Sawstop or Harvey Attachment. I'm very please to say that the Harvey didn't disappoint. Quality build, smooth operation, easy to install, great value for the price point. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an accurate sliding tablesaw attachment who doesn't have the space or maybe the money for a full sized sliding table saw. I have no regrets on this purchase. Good job Harvey!

I purchased this product from Harvey so that I can customize the size exactly to my drill press. It is so easy to cut a piece of ply and then attach the four corners/wheels to create a sturdy mobile base vs. fussing with the angle brackets and multiple bolts other mfg provide. Everything in my shop is on wheels and this base lets me do that quickly and cost effectively. I highly recommend.
Love the Compass. Would love to have a Harvey saw but most of your equipment while excellent is also out of range for regular woodworkers. I will continue to save up again to purchase something else from Harvey. Love the Compass just what I needed. Thankyou!
Look - full disclosure...I am an enthusiastic woodworker, but not very good. I do, however, consider myself pretty knowledgeable and safety conscious.
The Compass RG-2 is ridiculously easy to use and is super solid with only a firm turn of the knobs. The best safety equipment is quick and easy to use. I have zero reason not to reach for it - every time (it's appropriate).
Treat yourself to one.
I'm very happy with the purchase. I like how accurate this saw is, I look forward to having this for many years.

This swiveling extension table is ideal for all the tasks that the table saw can handle. Furthermore, with the router table mounted on the table, I no longer have any obstruction to using the router extension table.
Like everything Harvey makes, these Roller Guides are well conceived so that they operate simply and flawlessly. They are built for serious work and like my Compass Mitre Slide and G700 Dust Processor will likely outlast me.
The machine itself is excellent and very well made, as you can tell just by looking at the construction. However, I have two observations: the table insert is a knucckle buster, and I never did get the insert installed. Swapped out the spring set up and replaced with a new brass sloted bolt and wing nut. No cussing , just insert and tighten the wing nut. Second, the blade guard comes down so far that it blocks any pencled cut lines, and have to raise same. Other than that, highly recommended!
I really like the machine. Super convenient footprint; I built a bench overtop. Great suction… much more on full power than my old Grizzly 1.5 HP cyclone. Easy dust bag collection. My only beef is a quibble really is that I’d like the main shutoff switch to be on the front of the machine not the back so I can turn it off without having to reach way in behind the bench I built it under.
