Great machine, quiet, good power

I really like the machine. Super convenient footprint; I built a bench overtop. Great suction… much more on full power than my old Grizzly 1.5 HP cyclone. Easy dust bag collection. My only beef is a quibble really is that I’d like the main shutoff switch to be on the front of the machine not the back so I can turn it off without having to reach way in behind the bench I built it under.

Router Table Review

A wonderful table, every piece feels substantial and well made/

De grande qualité et la construction de grande qualité et jlen suis très satisfait de mon achat

Very awesome machine.

There’s no regret when I bought this machine and I think it’s a very easy and reliable model to use

Harvey Overhead Arm Tablesaw

Overall the product is ok. It does what it has to do. Easy to assemble and to use. My only concern is the shock that holds the assembly over the saw. The shock seems to be not strong enough to hold the unit, so it won’t stay up… didn’t find any adjustment on the shock…. Bit annoying…

Excellent Products, Even Better Customer Service

Purchased a 3hp saw, router table, fence, s12 overhead. Great products, set up took a bit but everything fit together well. One small issue with the S-12 and Gabriel from customer service, spent the time and effort to make sure the issue was solved perfectly. As they say you get what you pay for and these tools are defiantly worth the money. Harvey Tools 5 Stars, Gabriel from Customer Service 6 Stars.

Excellent Product’s even Better Customer Service

I purchased a Table Saw, Router table, Router Fence, and S12. Have had a chance to use everything and they say you get what you pay for. That is exactly true these tools are amongst the best I have owned and used.
Had an issue with the S-12 Overhead Dust Arm, and ending up talking to Gabriel in Customer Service, he did an exellent job in trying to solve the small problem, spent numerous emails and phone calls working towards a solution. Problem was solved and it was due to Gabriels effort. Harvey 5 stars Gabriel 6 stars. Thank you very much for the excellent service and products

COMPASS RG-1/RG-2 Universal Roller Guides

I had trouble getting fitted to the table saw guide. Once i sanded the insert piece on both sides and bottom i was able to fit it properly. It looks well made and works as designed. Very pleased

Dust Collector

Harvey Company / Andrew more than met my expectation on delivery, placement of the machine, easy set-up and performance on operation.

Thanks,

Harvey Shark

I received my Harvey Shark S-12S overhead guard. I installed it on a Craftex cabinet saw. It was easy to install and it is very well built. It is heavy duty and robust. The install well easy as i had already upgraded my saw with the Harvey Big Eye fence and the mounting holes were already in the rear rail. It captures much of the dust from the table top. I will update the review after i had some time to work with it but i feel it is an investment well worth the price.

Spider Mobile Base
GARY CHAPPLE
Great mobile base

This mobile base is awesome, easy to move saw around even on uneven ground. The directions for setup could be better as well as maybe showing how far to adjust base setup for each series of saws. Having marks on it for each series of saws would be so helpful. Also, I am in a garage and I did have to use a small piece of 1/8” plywood to put under one corner to try and get saw level. Could not get it to level perfectly because if you put too big of a piece of wood under the levelling feet you cannot get the base to lock down.

Love this fence

Setup was relatively easy. Smooth sliding and deadly accurate. Highly recommend if you are looking for an upgrade.

They’re called “Alpha” for a reason…..

After owning and using a number of table saws over the years (contractor and cabinet), I finally felt it was time to treat myself by taking the plunge and try a quality cabinet saw. I watched hours of video and read too many reviews to mention and decided I’d purchase the Harvey HWC110LC36P. I am so very happy with that decision.
The saw arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. The quality of the saw, its components and accessories and even the instruction manuals are top quality. Who even provides manuals these days let alone quality ones printed on heavy paper in aesthetically pleasing envelops!
I’ve used the saw for over a month now and it performs perfectly, making accurate cuts right “out of the box” without needing any adjustments. The quality and functionality of the rip fence and mitre gauge, both supplied with the saw, are unparalleled in my humble opinion.
I am extremely pleased with the quality and functionality of this table saw. If I could mention one small issue I wish was disclosed in Harvey's literature. The saw comes equipped with a 5-20P electrical plug. I wish I had known that before the saw arrived. It isn’t a huge issue, only needing to change the outlet, but it did delay me being able to use the saw for an extra day.
I would absolutely recommend the Harvey “Alpha” saw! Now saving up for a Harvey router table!

ALPHA HW615Pro 3HP 15" Stain-less Bandsaw review

When the saw arrived, the first thing I noted was that the packaging of the unit was impressive.

The saw was easy to set up and I had it running in no time. Very simple to install the blade. The COMPASS RG-1/RG-2 roller guide is impressive. This alone should be mandatory in every wood workers shop.

The SPIDER M-1500/M-1500Pro mobile base unit is incredible. Without a doubt the best mobile base I have used. This unit will last forever.

Simply stated, this bandsaw has exceeded my expectations in all areas. This unit gets the "BUY" recommendation.

DESTROYER BG52 10” Table Saw General Purpose Blade

Excellent quality. The slightly heavier blade makes for absolutely straight cuts with no tear out. The price makes this blade especially attractive. This item get the "BUY" recommendation.

Very impressed with the ease of use and solid locked in feel of this base. Surprised how effortless moving my bandsaw has become. Highly recommend getting this

Destroyer Saw Blades

I was using CMT Blades and found them to be satisfactory. When they wore out I decided to purchase the Destroyer Combination, Rip, and Melamine/Plywood blades offered by Harvey. I have the Harvey Alpha HW110S -36P Table Saw with the Big Eye Rip Fence. I decided to go with Destroyer Blades because they have the cut outs for the pins on the arbour. I am not disappointed. They are cutting amazingly well , much better then the CMT blades I was using before. I would highly recommend the Destroyer blades.

Sliding table perfect

Excellent quality , hope I can qualify as an sponsor craftsman after that 😂

This was an indulgence, I debated purchasing at it is clearly more expensive than many alternatives. When it arrived, i felt better about the purchase based upon the fact it is truly a beast and beautifully made. Looking forward to putting it through its paces!

Amazing

If you're on the fence whether you should spend the extra money over a cheaper Amazon version, it's not even close, amazing quality second to none, just buy it

BIG EYE B36

I am a Canadian customer who decided to upgrade the fence on my old 1.5HP Steel City table saw. I read reviews for, and was very impressed with, the Harvey BIG EYE B36 fence system, discovered the ALPHA series of table saws, and after further thought, decided replacing, rather than upgrading my existing saw, made sense.

I initially planned to buy a Harvey ALPHA AW110TC-36PRO table saw possibly upgraded with the Shark S-12S overhead guard, since I was not keen on the standard riving knife-mounted dust collection arm nor Harvey's Compass MG-36 Pro miter gauge -- neither of which I wanted, the former because reviews were poor and the latter because I already have an excellent Hongdui MG-21BS miter gauge. Nevertheless, I talked myself into buying the whole saw package (and several accessories) -- planning to sell my existing saw and whichever miter gauge I decided was less desirable -- and was in the process of making the purchase when I discovered that discounts that were supposed to be applied on checkout were not showing up. I cancelled the purchase pending answers from customer service about the discounts and the policy on substitutions.

I also went to the US site to check whether it might be possible to buy from the US, rather than the Canadian outlet. I was not terribly surprised to find a US purchase was not allowed, but dismayed to find that, while list prices are equivalent, Harvey's "Sale" pricing is radically different in Canada and the US. The "sale" discount on the list price in effect on the two sites was CA$450 lower in Canada, but US$800 lower in the US, which is over CA$1100!! I subsequently was informed that Harvey only sell specific packages and substitution or removal of components is not allowed.

In reaction to a combination of price discrimination and the no substitution policy I decided to stay with my current saw but upgrade it with the BIG EYE fence system.

It took only a few days for the fence system to arrive, well packed in two sturdy boxes. It took me about 4 hours (split over two days) to replace the stock rails and fence with a Harvey BIG EYE fence system (B36 version) and adjust/calibrate the system. I overlooked a step in adjusting the rear locking mechanism (my bad), but that error allowed me to note that even without the rear lock engaged the fence has minimal deflection. That said, when I got the lock properly adjusted the fence became rock solid.

Numerous features attracted me to the BIG EYE (See here for an excellent overview (https://youtu.be/cxFydEIw444)), but in particular the easy roll rail-mounted fence, 2 point locking, and the precision readout system for setting cut dimensions, but also the adaptability of the system to a wide range of saws other than Harvey's own. My old Steel City saw was not on the list of models the BIG EYE was advertised to fit, but the it complied with the size range and type of table (27"-31.5" cast iron table) and it seemed likely the eccentric-head mounting bolts would accommodate my saw.

It proved to be a bit of an issue to mount, in that I had to drill out the 5/16"-18 tapped mounting holes used on the Steel City saw to allow the M8 Harvey bolts to be used, and I had to grind away 1-2mm of a strut under the left table that prevented attaching to washers and nut to retain the Harvey bolt, and the final position of the Harvey rails was about 1mm higher than optimum even with the eccentric heads on the Harvey bolts in their lowest orientation. That said, he system functions perfectly and is a huge improvement. I strongly recommend it.
